Project “INOTRANS” is implemented within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan 2021–2026 and is financed by European Union funds through the NextGenerationEU instrument.
About the project
The application of innovative digital technologies can fundamentally reshape organizations and increase their effectiveness; however, practice indicates that implementation often fails to deliver the expected results. The absence of anticipated outcomes is attributed to the neglect of the role of employees and other organizational aspects, such as organizational structure and culture, the work environment, and employee competencies. The proposed project is focused on a holistic and multidimensional investigation of the transformational impact of digital technologies on organizational design, with the aim of enriching scientific understanding of digital transformation and providing concrete, applicable guidelines for organizations seeking to adopt innovative digital technologies. The project develops and tests a conceptual framework that will enable a systematic examination of the relationships between the implementation of innovative digital technologies and organizational structure and culture, the work environment, and employee competencies. Project activities include theoretical modeling, multilevel empirical research in organizations, and the modeling of strategies for adapting organizations to innovative digital technologies. The project’s findings will contribute to building organizational sustainability and resilience through a better understanding of how digital technologies influence transformational processes within organizations.
